The Mack
This
is what I would call a member of the big three in the Blaxploitation
genre with the other two being Super Fly and Shaft. These three are by
far the biggest in the genre in success and notoriety and seen even by
people who don't enjoy the genre and some that don't even know it
exists. This one stars Max Julien as "The Mack" who is a big time pimp
who is fresh out of a five year jail sentence, now out the local cops
and a gang leader want to knock him down a few pegs back down to a small
time pimp.
