This is another great Japanese Yakuza picture from the man who brought us the Yakuza Papers series of films. Every time I post one of these I try to express how great this genre is and they still have always gotten low views. This one is a great story of how close the Yakuza and the police worked together at the time. Violence and action from start to finish with this one with a great story!!
Not so Fucking FUN FACT: Unfortunately after watching this I read that Bunta Sugawara who stars in this as a cop which is rare and had also starred in most of the Yakuza Papers pictures and many other pictures in the genre had died in 2014, he was my absolute favorite actor in the genre. The Robert Deniro of Japanese gangster pictures! We also lost Ken Takakura who although didn't star in as many and was not as well known in the genre but was a great actor.
