Hard to really assign this one a specific genre but I guess I would just call it a Japanese Exploitation film about a couple of bank robbers who get a bit to infamous for their own good until one gets killed during a heist and the other is hunted by police and his dead partner's brother. Ends with a pretty crazy but ridiculous car chase. Great movie and another great example of an ONLY in Japan picture!
