The Education of Sonny Carson
Here is another one I would certainly call Blaxploitation but more on the serious side of the genre. Also unlike most in the genre it takes place in the 1950s NYC where most take place in modern time of release which is mostly the 1970s. Another thing that differs in this film is it is really story driven and shot a lot better than your average Blaxploitation.
