The Junkman
I picked this one up as Gone in 60 Seconds 2 but it isn't a sequel to it but more of a tribute to it but still written and directed and also starring the late great H.B. Halicki who also supplied the the junk cars for the original film. Unfortunately he died not long after the making of this film. This one starts off with Halicki redoing the opening scene to Gone in 60 Seconds as he plays himself...the director of GI60S pre-release of that film and a group of people want to kill him to take the profits of the film.
If you are a fan of the original Gone in 60 Seconds you know the car chases in that picture were complete gorilla filming but this one is much more legit/legal and a bit more tame but still very good.
H.B. Halicki is one of my heros just for putting out the greatest carsploitation picture of all time with zero knowledge of film making or stunt work!
