Birth of the Living Dead

Birth of the Living Dead

This one is a documentary about the classic and one of the best Horror Movies ever made "The Night of the Living Dead" which starts out great with a bunch of great info about the actors who helped make this film possible but unfortunately about half way through this one goes WAYYY to PC and tries to push the whole view this movie was about race relations in the U.S. at the time just because a Black man stars in it which Romero himself can't help but laugh at in the Doc. They even find a NYU film professor that calls this a Blaxploitation picture which being a big fan of the Blaxploitation genre I find to be a huge insult, this movie was nothing more than a horror movie the makers hoped would make money and nothing more or nothing less!!
This could have been a great documentary if they didn't go that route!!
